Q: What information/documentation will I need to collect my car?
A: The local car hire supplier company has to ensure the authenticity
of your documents, therefore you will need to show your driver’s
license, passport or ID card (and also for all additional drivers) and
a valid credit card (not for all rental locations). Further you will
need to show the hard-copy of your reservation voucher (confirmation of
your reservation - provided by us) to ensure you receive our special
requested rental prices.
If Prepayment selected, you will need the hard-copy of your rental voucher to proof the prepayment.

Q: Do I need to use a shuttle service to my rental car?
A: In most cases the local car hire supplier company will have an
airport desk or representatives at the arrival/hotel to deliver the
rental cars. Some rental companies offer shuttle service to the car
pick up location from the airport/hotel. If so, we inform you within
the rental confirmation.

Q: Will I receive the make/model of car I have reserved?
A: Receiving the requested make or model of car depends upon
availability at the time of your arrival to pick up the vehicle. Our
system permits us to add your preferred car make/model, but we cannot
guarantee that you finally receive it.

Q: Is the Algarve Rental Online Booking System secure?
All personal information exchanged between your web browser and our
server will be encrypted using a 128 bit encryption – secure socket
layer connection (SSL).

Q: How old do I have to be to rent a car?
A: Most car rental companies require renters to be a minimum of 23
years of age. Some car rental companies do allow renters at the minimum
age of 18 but there is an increase in the rate of the rental or a daily
surcharge will be charged and a deposit is required.

Q: What is the minimum/maximum rental period to accept reservations?
A: The minimum rental period is 24 hours. Generally we do not have any maximum rental period.

Q: Which payment methods are accepted?
Accepted are credit cards (Eurocard/Mastercard, Visa, Diners Club,
American Express) and cash payment. Debit cards, personal cheques or
money order are not accepted.

Q: Must I return the car fully tanked?
A: Vehicles are handed over with any given amount of fuel. This is
registered on the rental documentation. The vehicle must be returned
with the same amount of fuel. Should the fuel level be lower than this,
the local car hire company will charge the cost of the refueled petrol
and/or diesel to the average market price as well as a refueling
charge. Costs of refuelling the vehicle cannot be returned.

Q: Do I need to reconfirm my car reservation?
A: No! There is no need to reconfirm your booking once it is made. We
will normally send you your car voucher by email (we can also fax it to
you if you have any trouble receiving the email). You need to print out
the voucher and keep it in a safe place and take with you when you
collect your vehicle. It is also a good idea to keep a handy note of
your booking reference number to quote if necessary. Please remember
that if you do not have your voucher you may not be able to get your car
